Local Community Involvement
A big part of the craft beer movement is being active in the local community. While charity and volunteering might not be a focus for every company, it is extremely important to us. Following in our own footsteps of becoming an integral part of Aomori we continually try to find ways to help.
Twice a year we host all of the children from the local orphanage to come have dinner in our taproom before they begin their spring and summer vacations.
The yearly marathon held in our city is another chance for us to pay it forward. Last year and every year moving forward we make Team Be Easy. The proceeds from our team shirts is matched by us and donated to a different charity each year. Last year was towards research for frontal temporal dementia.
As often as we are allowed, after each required waiting period, all employees at Be Easy go to the local red cross to donate blood. In the future we hope to be able to hold a blood drive at our brewery and provide lunch for everyone that comes out to donate.
We are a small team of five but will continue to find ways to help the local community. We are always open to ideas so if you are an organization that wants to work together and/or needs help, please contact us through this page.
